kid ware

Just a quick little crafty post today. I'd painted the porcelain candy dish in the bottom corner as a gift, and on a whim decided to get the girls plates to work on as well. I was curious to see how they'd handle the colour and decoration, and honestly, I think theirs are way better than mine (mine's Leo the lion -- he seems rather subdued compared to the kids' lol)!

Roro's. I loved the confidence with which she executed each image. Do you have a favourite? Mine are the bugs and that pin!

Becky's. I love the minimalist, vaguely Scandinavian quality of this -- she too was very sure of her design and strokes. They're wanting to set up a ceramics or pottery works -- I'm seriously considering it lol!

Hooray for kid crafts! Have a peaceful, blessed week everyone!

Hello! Oh boy I love all of them! Ceramic painting is perfect, you can even try to make a home set with the girls, I think it would be wonderful to wear and also a great memory to have (:

They did a fantastic job! That's rather impressive when I compare the artwork of my little boy LOL What paint did you use? It will be exciting to start ceramics works! I hope you get time to do it and blog about it!

These are great! Amazing what kids come up with..with no care for the "correct" use of space or second thought to all those composition rules they teach you in art class! :)

Roro and Becky have obviously inherited their Mommy's creative talent! Love the contrast of their styles and your's isn't shabby either ;p

Absolutely lovely! I love the simplicity of each plate, and I can definitely tell that these little artists take after their mother. =D You should all make more of these! They are truly wonderful creations~

These are wonderful! I like the ice cream cone on Roro's. The simple framing on Becky's is perfect. Nice work, girls!

These are precious B&O! One of my great joys as a teacher was watching kids create all kinds of art. There is something about girls and butterflies! I so enjoyed Becky's! Her edge design was darling. As for Roro's! Such exuberance! I like her little ant and the fly! LOL! It always amazes me how kids go for it. Your Leo is cute too, but I'm afraid the girls have outdone you with cuteness! Take care!
